Lymphangiectasia

Lymphangiectasia = Dilatation of lymph vessels

• congenital (isolated or a part of a syndrome)
• acquired - usually due to obstruction of lymph drainage (infestation by parasites, inflammatory destruction, neoplastic infiltration). Manifestation depends on extent and localization.
